Character Descriptions

(Listed in order of appearance)

Nephele, Galene, and Aura – Collectively known as the Aurae, these wind nymphs guide the story, introducing key characters and ideas.

Daedalus – Icarus’s cold and abusive father; he blames Icarus for their imprisonment.

Icarus -The myth, the legend, always longing to touch the sun and the sky; Icarus is creative, mature, and yet foolish… Mature from his trauma, yet foolish from his youth.

Apollo – God of music and dance, of sun and light, of truth and prophecy; though immortal and divine, he has an eternal youth about him. Apollo is a beacon of love, hope, and friendship to Icarus in an unstable situation.
